Gamesa progresses in India with a new contract for the supply of 250 MW to Orange
Gamesa confirmed its presence in India by signing a new contract 1 for the supply of 250 MW to Orange, one of the major Indian promoters and independent operators (IPP).

The company will install 125 G97-2.0 MW S-class wind turbines at three wind farms. With a tower height of 104 metres, the company has designed this variant (certified by TÜV NORD) specifically for the Indian market, with the aim of maximising the performance of the turbines in areas with little wind.
