The Basque Government launches a plan to create 32,000 jobs

The Basque Government has set itself the challenge of promoting the creation of 32,000 jobs over the next three years as a result of the setting in motion of the series of initiatives in the new 2014-2016 Plan for Employment and Economic Reactivation. This plan envisages the allocation of 775 million euros to employment programs, 3,840 million euros to economic reactivation measures and 1,860 million euros to the underwriting of companies.

The plan includes the set of government programs designed with the triple aim of reducing the destruction of employment, creating new jobs and helping to reactivate the Basque economy and improve its competitiveness. The economic cost of these programs amounts to 6,475 million euros for the three fiscal years during which it will be applied.
