Centransa El Salvador started very strongly and in only 20 minutes already dominated the scoreboard by 21-3. Jorge Molina surprised Ordizia with two tries although it could still have increased its advantage if two tries hadn’t failed.

Freeman’s moment came in the second half in a game with Goia. With the scoreboard at 24-20 and 15 minutes left to play, Lolotonga capped a big comeback allowing Ampo Ordizia to proclaim itself King’s Cup champion, thus achieving its first national title in the top league.
