The Basque National Party considers it of the utmost importance that the international community commits to the consolidation of peace in the Basque Country, based on respect for all political ideas and the recognition of victims.

EAJ-BNP also wishes to acknowledge the efforts being made by the Cenarrusa Foundation for Basque Culture, from which this initiative stemmed, and by Pete Zenarruza (winner of the Sabino Arana Award) and his team of associates in defence of the culture and interests of Basques in theUnited States of America.
