Football: Basque Country vs. Tunisia
In a Christmas friendly match, Tunisia cut short the Basque Country’s run of six straight wins dating back to their victory over Catalonia in 2007. Sami Trabelsi’s Tunisian team did not outplay the Basque Country team, coached by José Mari Amorrortu and Mikel Etxarri, but they managed to put away both the scoring chances that came their way in the second half.

Chadly and Msakni were in the right place at the right time to give the Tunisians a win that will boost their confidence for the forthcoming African Cup of Nations 2012, which will be played in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea from January 21 to February 12.
