On the other hand, the latest Azkena Rock Festival de Gasteiz, which has become a must on the festival calendar, ended at the Mendizabala venue on 25 June. And this event, which has earned its place as the doyen of our Rock festivals, has now been held for the tenth time. And the figures speak for themselves. This festival has steadily grown over the years and attracted 58,580 festival goers this year, with over 18,000 people at each of the three days.

And last but not least, the XXXV Vitoria International Jazz Festival this year honoured the great Miles Davis. The highlights of this year’s festival included the presence of Rubén Blades and Jaimie Cullum, along with a performance by Nigel Kennedy, the classical violinist.
