Markel Olano, General Deputy for Gipuzkoa, has stated that "the current economic circumstances call for joint efforts by everyone: we must anticipate events and take effective measures if we are to remain competitive. Gipuzkoa must find a way out of the impasse in which it finds itself in regard to strategic projects. We must find a way of working and co-operating over and above our political differences. There is no need to build new structures, but we so have to work together on issues that are fundamental to our territory".
