Basque Country celebrates sporting victories

Basque sports has good reason to celebrate. The victory of Baskonia, the promotion of Real sociedad and Biarritz reaching the final of the European Cup have capped a season of sporting victories that raise great expectation for the future. Quality, determination, enthusiasm and a great deal of hard work enabled the Caja Laboral Baskonia basketball team to achieve its dream of becoming ACB champion, enabled the historic San Sebastian-based football club to return to Division One and enabled Biarritz to enjoy the experience of a European Cup Final.
